By using the carbon additive from HB Refractory in producing casting, it can increase the used quantity of Scrap steel and reduce the quantity of Scrap iron, or use no Scrap iron at all, HB carbon additive has follows properties: high absorptive character, no residue will be left, save production cost.
1¡¢Usage£ºused to improve the Carbon content in steel-melting and Ductile iron foundry
2¡¢Characteristica£ºhigh carbon, low sulfur, with stable effect for improving the carbon content, high absorptivity of carbon.

5¡¢apply methods£º
1). if with simple and stable raw materials and electrical furnace bigger than 5 MTS, we recommend the Additions dispersion, arrange the mixture ratio in accordance with the requirements of carbon content, adding the carbon additive together with metal furnace material and other maerial into the bottom of the furnace, pls kindly noted: don¡¯t mixing the carbon additive during melting, if not, the carbon additive will be packed by the residue, and this will effect the carbon absorption. 2).if with simple and stable raw materials and electrical furnace around 3 MTS, we recommend the centralize joining way, adding the carbon additive at the same time onto the surface of the iron liquid after some of iron liquid is left, and add the metal furnace material immediately, press all the carbon additive into the iron liquid, make the carbon additive totally contact with the iron liquid. 3).If with small size Mid-frequency faradic electrical melting furnace, and raw material with high carbon ,like pig iron, we recommend little adjusting way, after the steel-smelting, then adjust the carbon content, adding the carbon additive on the surface of the steel liquid, and make the carbon additive melted and absorb by Vortex mixing or manpower mixing.
6.compared with traditional pig iron
1)this product belongs to nonmetal, the melting point is1200-1300 degree centigrade, there will be no residual and the absorptive is high. 2)this product can be easily used in producing, and costed quantity is much less than the pig iron, which can save the production cost. 3)the sulfur content is this product is much less than the pig iron, also with stable property.
